No problem. windshield guy says he can make it without the template. You should have made the last run to down town Sac. it was really a good day.

UPDATE from Greg D! well, think I told you Gregs windshield has a crack in it. He is afraid to try and remove it, because he thinks it will just break entirely so is reluctant but said if you run out of options he may still do it. He mentioned he thinks Eduardo may have a G3 windshield, so maybe he can help. I showed Greg my Lido windshield, and he thinks the G3 is more rounded and lower, so, although the width is about right, I doubt the Lido one would look right on a G3. Plus the way the deck is molded is different on a G3 and a Lido, so the fit on the deck would probably not be right either .... You are one of many that have this dilemma. I solved it buy not having one at all! HA! gonna try and attach a pic....

Guess I dropped the ball, and...FORGOT to ask Greg about the windshield for you!!! I will send him a text right NOW before I forget AGAIN. Forgetting things seems to be happening a lot these days...HA! Greg drives a auto transporter and goes to sleep early so he can deliver cars while we sleep, so probably won't hear back from him for a day or so....guess you heard I had to BAIL on my "party barge" Lido project?

Hi Jack! sorry for the late reply. I don't have a G3 windshield, but Greg D does! it Does have a crack in it, though, and is still on his boat, so not sure he would be willing to let us borrow it for a template. I will ask him though and let you know if he agrees! BTW, Do you know if the G3 windshield is the same or, will fit a Lido? NUT

The motor has good compressional and spark. It hasn't ever seen salt water. It has what looks like most of the wiring is a short shaft the out side paint is faded but looks pretty good under the cowling.
I have either one or two brand new carbs for it. (It only uses 1) I got it for a project then sold the project.
I never ran it but bought the boat it was on from an 80 year old man that skied his kids behind it. It was sunning when parked (weren't they all)
    It is a 1968 motor.
I figure I have a little over $500 in it. Should be serviced before its run. Fluids and water pump impeller.
That's what I know about it.

You will have to look at the Park service website about restrictions. I don't believe there are any, but I might be wrong.

There is a large sign on the lake identifying it as Hirz Bay. There will be a launch facility and a dock. The campground is to the right of the dock, back in a cove. Just look for the vintage boats.

I'm sorry it has taken so long to get my response. I rarely come to check messages here. Sorry about that!

That's great news that you plan to be at Shasta. No big deal about the potluck either. My main concern about the potluck for you is the time of day. Boating from Hirz Bay back to Bridge Bay in the dark is a long and potentially dangerous trip. As for the food, thete is always more than enough.
