Default Tower park jellystone

After doing some research, I think Jellystone Towerpark is still our best option

So, the Date is the weekend of October 21-22. Some may want to arrive a few days early or stay a few days later.

Pot luck Saturday night...etc

Please comment here if you are planning on attending and we will the decide if this is a go. Then we can start making reservations.

Please only comment if you are serious about attending. I am NOT looking for any more suggestions on places that MAY work.

I think we are going to go ahead and make reservations to insure we have an RV space/cabin. And if we decide not to go, we can cancel

Thanks, and I hope this works out to be another great weekend!

Unless something happens between now and then we will be in attendance. Will be calling for cabin reservations soon, still no RV or horse.

Your think its just the 8 of us, counting Jac & Scott and Barbi & Jeff? Of course since "No Facebook Here" I don't know how its being received elsewhere.

If that's it I will bring a really slow boat so those fast guys will have to come back checking on us.

So for outsiders (those of us from down south / SoCal are) is there a link for this Tower Park to look at? Can you swim in the lake, how pet friendly, and where is it?? I really owe my dogs a good camping trip and we haven't been to the river (like we usually do 3-4 times in the summer) since my daughter is stuck working weekends. If there is someplace with fellow boaters where I could possibly get help getting boat on/off trailer I'd be very interested? I travel with two dogs and they would definitely need to swim. Is this feasible at Tower Park? Like I mentioned above we usually hit the river and cove camp several times over the summer months, can't go alone since summer is monsoon season and weather is very unpredictable plus cove camping as a female alone isn't smart or safe, but believe you me, I would if I could!. We are all having major swimming/boating/camping withdrawals! lol Lakes down here are all having deadly algae issues, I hate SoCal!

Jolene, http://towerparkresort.com/ Last year bought out by Yogi Bear Jellystone parks. It's on the Delta and swimming is ok as far as I know. Some of the cabins are labeled "pet friendly" and have different rates so they are at least admitting pets. But we have no experience with a pet there. The Marina has a valet (tractor) launch so they do all the launch and recovery for you.

Our son brought his dog last year. They stayed in a pet friendly cabin. Not sure if they will bring him again this year.
